Iran is ready to resume atomic discussions with the United States on condition that it is handled with "respect" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has stated.

The Iranian diplomat stated only diplomacy produced results, and shared fresh requests had come from mediators to restart discussions with the Trump administration. He said Iran did not have unreported enrichment locations, and Iran could not yet allow the global atomic watchdog to visit struck enrichment centers for safety concerns.

Walking a Challenging Course

Araghchi is walking a challenging route since Iran wishes not to appear to be operating from a stance of weakness, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had arisen more resilient in military terms and emotionally from the joint assault on its enrichment centers in June.

Afterward, EU nations employed their privilege to reinstate global restrictions, but Iran maintains they have not had a substantial consequence.

Ideal Resolution Proposed

Iranian officials claimed they felt they had attained a "magic solution" to the enrichment issue in previous talks, when it was settled an local partnership with American involvement could enrich uranium. The two nations would have been able to assert triumph since domestic enrichment would have remained and the US could be confident that Iran's atomic project was solely for peaceful purposes.
